I posted almost two months ago that we bought a boat. Well, it has finally arrived and taken its maiden voyage. I'm sad to say that I am no longer Rob's primary fishing partner -- something to do with a crazy 11 month old always by my side -- so I wasn't part of the trial run but I hope to get out on water soon. Rob has named her "Plain and Dumpy" but I think she's more of a "you're all I really need" kind of boat.
No fish were harmed (or even caught and released) on the boat's maiden voyage, but we aren't taking that as a bad omen -- we'll get you soon enough little fishies!
