At the end of August we enjoyed a full two weeks of vacation in Minnesota. Its obviously going to take me longer than that to catch up on our blog! A recap of our entire vacation in one post seems a bit overwhelming so enjoy these few photos and check back soon for more.
Vacation Time Part 1:
One of the highlights of this trip was getting to visit with friends from high school. We always love a chance to catch up with everyone -- its even more meaningful now that we can also see our kids get to know each other. We spent a few days at my brother's apartment in Saint Paul so that we could see friends that lived in the Twin Cities area. We had a chance to meet two new babies as well as introduce Audrey to everyone.

Kaitlyn had a great afternoon playing with my friend Amber's two girls. Amber and I were barely older than the girls are now when we first became friends -- it was great to see our daughters playing together. I felt like I had gone back 25 years to the days of playing with Amber in preschool. Maybe in a few more years we will get to enjoy each other's company with an uninterrupted conversation when we get together.
