Cousins

It is so great to be at Grammy and Grampy's cabin in Minnesota - when the weather is nice that is:) This year the weather was perfect. The girls were in the lake immediately following breakfast and they played by the beach until lunch most days. After a short rest they were right back at it often joined by Landon and Gracie in the afternoon. We went through several bottles of sun screen on the this trip!

4 exhausted cousins taking a break from the sun Kaitlyn and Gracie covered some serious distance in the water for little peanuts. All the kids (except Audrey), accompanied by my sister in law Chantelle and me jumped off the pontoon in the middle of the bay to swim to shore one afternoon. That simple activity was so much fun and one of my favorite memories of this trip!

It didn't seem like we saw very much of Landon this summer - he isn't one of the little kids anymore and therefore isn't really underfoot. Since we only see him once a year it was a little sad for me to see him so independent, but he was having a ton of fun playing with the neighbor boys which was also great to see. I did get a chance to read with him one night when he slept over at the cabin and that is another of my favorite memories from this trip.
