My little Kaitlyn was so excited and proud to get her very own library card today!

She even wrote her name by herself on the back of it.

I just love these mini-milestones! The first book Kaitlyn checked out on her own library card is a collection of Robert McCloskey stories. Kaitlyn's favorite story in this book is Blueberries for Sal, with One Morning in Maine coming in as a close second. We were introduced to this author by my friend Annie a little while back when she lent us a copy of One Morning in Maine. He has now become a favorite -- wonderful stories for little ones with a growing attention span for longer books.
